Wearing it day and night: what to look for
A piece that stays on 24/7 asks more of the measurement than one you take off.
Three things decide whether a piece can be worn day and night: the measurement, the material and the closure.
The measurement comes first, because it's the hardest to undo. Measure snugly against the skin, without a finger underneath; we add the extra room for a perfect fit ourselves. If you're not sure, book an appointment and we'll measure together.
Every piece here is made of 316 stainless steel or titanium. Both are kind to the skin and polished by hand, so there's no seam or edge pressing on one spot all day. If you have a nickel allergy, choose titanium: stainless steel contains nickel.
Clean it with water and mild soap. Don't use abrasives, as they wear away the hand-polished finish.
Then the closure, which you choose in advance. A hex closure only opens with a key; a magnetic one opens without. On a piece that stays on, that decides how quickly it can come off, which is why you choose the closure on the product page rather than afterwards.
