Who you are buying from

We are a workshop in Friesland. Everything you see here is made by hand, and most of it to your own measurement. These terms apply to sales to consumers.

How an order comes about

You pick a piece, give the measurement it asks for and the choices that belong to it, and send us the request. That is not yet a purchase.

We then confirm what it will be, what it costs and what the shipping costs. Only once you agree to that is there a contract, and only then does the piece go to the bench.

That way we can check a measurement before steel is cut. It is the one step that cannot be adjusted afterwards.

Prices

Prices on this site include VAT and are per piece. What a version costs is stated with that version; there is no amount anywhere that you have to add something to later.

Shipping is separate and belongs with the confirmation of your request.

If something is wrong

You are entitled to a piece that is what you could expect it to be. If it is not, we repair or replace it free of charge, and if that is not possible or not within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a lower price or to cancel the purchase.

There is no fixed term of one or two years on that. How long you are entitled to it depends on what you could expect from this piece, and with solid stainless steel that is a long time.

If something goes wrong within a year of delivery, we assume it was already not right at delivery, unless we show otherwise.

If you have a complaint, email us. If we do not work it out together, you can put your dispute to the competent Dutch court. Dutch law applies to this contract.
